Chris Chaney 1954-2022

On Tuesday, August 30th, 2022, we lost our beloved Co-Founder Chris Chaney. Chris was a hero and warrior for the Parkinson Disease community. He was a PD fitness advocate who taught PD classes at Coors Core Fitness which led to his partnership with Lisa Coors and Jakki Hunter to start Parkinson Community Fitness in 2017.

Our Mission
To provide a place for Persons with Parkinson’s (PWPs) and their families to go for exercise, support, and social events.
I feel comfortable taking 4 classes a week which has kept up my strength and flexibility. Together with a good doctor, meds. and walking I have been able to slow or stop the progression of my Parkinson. I have been aware of my Parkinson for 6 years.

The Goal of Parkinson Community Fitness (PCF) is to provide a non-judgmental place where Persons with Parkinson’s (PWPs) can regain the dignity in their lives.
All PCF fitness trainers are certified for PWPs and provide classes in Fitness, Dance, Tai Chi and Boxing.
